Usage


Let's go over usage of Kapption

Title menu area (top of screen), from left to right
-left side is where the project title is
-middle item is current page size in pixels (real world size in in. or cm. can be shown using bottom menu)
-right side is the "Lock" button, this locks items on screen together (shapes and any images being used for the project) when changing position, otherwise items move individually

Bottom menu, from left to right
-first is the reset button, it resets everything, use it to start fresh
-second is the undo button, undo previous actions (still a little finicky)
-third is the redo button, redo actions you've undone (still a little finicky)
-fourth is the on-screen measurements toggle. This is how you show or hide the real world measurements of your page and the shapes on the page on the screen
-fifth is the page toggle, this is how you show or hide the page on the screen
-sixth is the menu toggle, this is how you show or hide the menu on the screen

Setup
Page Size - what paper size is being used for the project
Screen Scaling - this is how you size the page to fit your device screen better (to check real world sizes, use the bottom menu)
Show Grid Overlay - handy grid overlay for your project
Grid Spacing - increase or decrease grid spacing
Use Centimeters - measurements can be in inches or centimeters, this is the toggle
Allow Beyond Page Boundaries - you can lock items within the page boundaries, or you can choose to allow items to go beyond the page boundary
Default - this button resets the Setup menu to defaults

Shape (Outer)
Selected Shape - pick outermost on-screen shape. This is your main shape
Width - alter the shape width
Height - alter the shape height
Rotation - rotate the shape
Border Width - control width of shape border
Border Color - change color of border (you can hide the border using the Opacity control)
Fill Color - fill in shape with a color (Opacity control inside Color Picker)
Line Cap - alter line cap shape (endpoints of a line)
Line Join - alter line join (style used for where endpoints join)
Dash Pattern - alter the dash pattern of the shape (used to create a dashed line)
Dash Phase - determines where in a defined dash pattern a line begins drawing
Reset Shape - button to return to the defaults for this shape

Shape (Inner)
Show Second Border - inner shape toggle (show or hide the inner shape)
Selected Shape - pick inner on-screen shape. This allows you to have a secondary shape or border for your project
Width - alter the shape width
Height - alter the shape height
Border Width - control width of shape border
Border Color - change color of border (you can hide the border using the Opacity control)
Fill Color - fill in shape with a color (Opacity control inside Color Picker)
Line Cap - alter line cap shape (endpoints of a line)
Line Join - alter line join (style used for where endpoints join)
Dash Pattern - alter the dash pattern of the shape (used to create a dashed line)
Dash Phase - determines where in a defined dash pattern a line begins drawing
Reset Shape - button to return to the defaults for this shape

Bounding Shape
Selected Shape - pick the bounding on-screen shape. This is used to bound the inner text independently from the on-screen shape (this shape boundary will not be shown on a project PDF or printed page, it is an on-screen reference only)
Width - alter the shape width
Height - alter the shape height
Border Color - change color of border (you can hide the border using the Opacity control)

Inner Text
Input - This is where you enter the text for the inside of the shape
Alignment - Change the alignment of the text
Font - Pick the font you want to use
Font Size - Alter the font size
Font Color - Alter the font color
Enable Shadow - turn on shadow for the text
Shadow Radius - control the amount of blur applied to the edge of the shadow (larger value more diffused, less more sharp)
Shadow X Offset - alter the horizontal offset
Shadow Y Offset - alter the vertical offset
Enable Gradient - turn on gradient for the text
Gradient Start Color - alter the first of the gradient color
Gradient End Color - alter the second of the gradient color
Gradient Angle - rotate the gradient
Enable Outline - turn on outline for the text
Outline Color - Change the color of the outline
Outline Width - Alter the width of the outline
Rotation - rotate the text
Reset - button to return to the defaults for the text

Border Text
Show Border Text - border text toggle (show or hide the text on the outside of the shape border)
Input - This is where you enter the text for the border of the shape
Font - Pick the font you want to use
Font Size - Alter the font size
Font Color - Alter the font color
Enable Shadow - turn on shadow for the text

Images
Adjust Image Width - alter selected image width
Adjust Image Height - alter selected image height
Image Rotation - rotate the selected image
Add Image - find image to add to the project
Remove Image - Remove selected image, or images in sequential order if nothing selected
Next - Move selected image to next one that is on screen
Reset Image - Reset selected image to original settings

Save(d) Projects
*Enter desired project title in textbox
Save Project - button to save your project
*List of saved projects if any, clicking a project will load it to continue working

PDF: Print/Export/View
Print Entire Page - Toggle to control whether everything on the page is printed, or just what is inside the shape (if you are using border text in your project, this must be on)
Print - Button to print to any AirPrint compatible printer
PDFs - go to your saved PDFs on your device

My Subscription
Manage - go to and manage your subscription

Tutorial
Restart Tutorial - go through the tutorial again

Sub Badges
This is where your earned badges for length of subscription are awarded and shown (earned over time). Badges are just meant to be fun and nothing else.
